Woodland View

Hay Lane, Hadley, Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR9 0AU

There are SEVEN pools at Preston Innovations sponsored Woodland View, each boasting a great stock of coarse fish. Match records stand at well over 200lb on all the pools, so the action can be magnificent. Each pool is fully accessible and in most cases anglers can park very close to their chosen peg. In addition, each peg is constructed from concrete with a safety lip at the front. They are all designed to take a wheelchair.

TACTICS
Woodland View is a great venue for margin fishing for carp on the pole. Small reeded areas are good to target, as well as near any overhanging trees or bushes. Try luncheon meat or the Woodland View Soft Hooker pellets, available on site.
Some swims are also great for feeder fishing, and a small open-end feeder filled with a fishmeal groundbait or softened pellets is perfect used as a running rig. Try hair-rigged luncheon meat or sweetcorn on the hook, and recast regularly to the same spot for the best action.
There are plenty of silver fish in Woodland View, so try fishing a whip or the top two sections of your pole with maggots on the hook. Keep feeding maggots around your float for a great day’s roach and rudd fishing.

RECOMMENDED TACKLE
If targeting carp, use a minimum of 6lb line as there are big carp in all the lakes at Woodland View. Choose strong hooks in a size 16 or above.

CLUB KORUM TOP TIP
Woodland View only allow the use of Sonubaits’ Competition Feed Pellets on site. They’re available in the tackle shop at the fishery and the fish love them!

GOOD SWIMS
Pegs with a cast up to an island or far bank margin are always good, but corner swims are best for big carp when pole fishing in the margins.
